Staples

Staples is a worldwide office supply brand and retailer, but over the years, they've become so much more to business owners. My time at Staples' in-house agency was during a brand revamp, transitioning from the ever-loved "That was easy" tagline to the empowering "Make more happen" tagline. I helped bring the new voice to everything from emails to landing pages to print ads.

 

There's nothing sadder than saying goodbye to your best friend and going off to college, especially when he's your dog. Turn that sad face upside down with personalized décor from Staples. From blankets and canvas prints, to mugs and coasters, we've got everything you need to bring a piece of home to your dorm.

Above is a Staples video I helped create for social. The goal of this video was to promote Staples' print offerings during back to school season in a lighthearted, relatable way.
 
Above is a print ad for Business Interiors by Staples, a sub-brand of Staples specializing in customized spaces for organizations of all kinds. The messaging goal here was to highlight the benefit of a well-designed space.
 
Above is a direct mail piece for Staples. The goal of this DM was to highlight the savings and variety of supplies — I chose to take a spring cleaning approach, framing each page in a check-list manor.

Above is the Staples Coffee Center landing page. The goal in creating this page was to position Staples as more than a supplier of office goods, framing them as partners to small businesses offering tips, advice and offers.
 
Above are three emails, each for different sub-brands of Staples — Staples Copy & Print, Staples Advantage and Staples. Each of these took on a new structure, breaking the typical Staples email mold, working to tell a more cohesive story than simply highlighting services or sales.
